The past couple of years have undoubtedly taken a toll on people, and families' emotional and mental health. Coping skills that have worked in the past, may no longer serve us well, and could be hindering our overall health, happiness, contentment and wellbeing.  I am confident that together we can begin a path to better wellness.  My specialties include anxiety, depression, grief, fatigue/burnout, child and school issues, child & adult  ADHD, family conflict, parenting, and life transitions.

Education: Master in Counseling (Lindenwood University-St. Louis, 2018); BA Psychology, minor Special Education (Lindenwood University-St. Louis).  

Certifications/Training: Certified School Counselor, Trauma-informed Counseling, Certified Peer Helping Program facilitator, (NAPPP-The National Association of Peer Program Professionals)

Robyn Gunn, (she/her) has a Master in Counseling from the CACREP-accredited Counseling Program at Lindenwood University where she serves on the CACREP Advisory Board, aiding in the University’s completion of accreditation.  She proudly co-authored the article, ‘The Professional School Counselor’s Role in Supporting the LGBTQ Community’ for the publication ‘Illinois School Counselor’ The official publication of ISCA (Illinois School Counselor Association), Summer 2017 Edition.  She is currently working toward state licensure as a Professional Counselor under the supervision of Emily Dreher, PLPC, license number 2012003449.

Amanda started her career in health care administration 8 years ago at Loyola in Maywood, IL.  She has experience in  insurance verification, billing, reception, prior authorizations, and workers comp.  Now Amanda is working from home with her baby! We are thrilled to have Amanda's expertise and dedication at Everest.
